Harmonic is Founder, Mardi Ritchie’s signature two-hour facial, created for the times when your face looks as tired as you feel. When tension has settled into the jaw and brow, the complexion has lost its vitality, and you want more than beautiful skin – you want to look lifted, rested, luminous and alive again.
The skin is deeply cleansed and treated before extended sculpting massage works through the décolletage, neck, jaw, cheeks, brow, temples and scalp, releasing held tension and bringing definition and movement back to the face.
At the heart of Harmonic is tuning-fork facial therapy. Weighted tuning forks are applied to selected acupressure points and meridian pathways across the face and body. Drawing on principles of East Asian medicine, the forks work with the same points used in acupuncture. Using sound and vibration rather than needles to stimulate the points and work with the flow of energy through the meridian system. Woven into Mardi’s sculpting massage and pressure-point work, this creates Harmonic’s distinctive approach to facial lifting, release and whole-body balance
But sound in Harmonic extends far beyond the tuning forks. Live voice, Mardi’s original music, crystal and Tibetan bowls, chimes and silence are composed around the treatment as it unfolds. Sometimes sound fills the room; sometimes it is barely there. Mardi moves between touch and sound in much the same way – knowing when to apply pressure, when to pull back, when to strike a note and when to leave space.
The work continues beyond the face through the shoulders, arms, hands and feet. A whole-body experience: while the skin is being treated and the face sculpted, sound draws you away from the constant noise of thought and into a depth of rest rarely reached.
You leave with skin deeply treated and luminous, features looking lifted and defined, tension released from the face and body, and the feeling of having gone somewhere far beyond the treatment bed.

Cadence is a full-body sculpting massage elevated by sound and elemental tools.
A full dry body brush stimulates the lymphatic flow. A customised scent infusion anchors you in presence. Hot stones melt muscular tension, while warm bamboo rods trace the back, neck and feet with grounding precision.
The deep overtones of Tibetan bowls, played both on and around the body ripple through you. Flowing, harmonising – until the body softens, the mind falls into stillness.
Woven through the ritual is acoustic guitar and song from the Chakana Ascend collection.

Performed live within an evolving soundscape of voice, guitar, piano, crystal and Tibetan bowls, gong, percussion and atmospheric sound.
Mardi moves between live voice, instruments, song and silence. She leads you through a guided meditation as sound surrounds the body, scent accompanies the music and song opens different emotional landscapes as the experience moves through the six worlds of Ascend.
