There is something sacred about this time of year. The world moves fast, the lists get longer, and yet… there’s also an invitation to soften. To reflect. To let the year begin to land in the body, and not just the calendar.
At Chakana, we’ve been feeling that need too. The desire to offer more stillness, more grounding, and more nourishment. Especially for our clients who’ve been holding so much, for so long. Whether that’s in leadership, in motherhood, or in quiet personal transformations that no one else sees.
This month, we’ve kept it simple. Rituals that soothe, scents that anchor, and a new treatment designed to honour the thresholds we all meet.
We’re open right up until Christmas Eve at 5pm, and then, as always, we’ll be taking our annual retreat, closing from December 25th and reopening on January 15th, 2026.

Introducing Cadence
A rare immersion of artful mastery. Cadence is a full-body sculpting massage elevated by sound and elemental tools – performed exclusively by Mardi.
This ritual begins with our bespoke scent infusion drawn from Chakana’s aromatic alchemy.
Anchoring you in presence, this treatment includes a full dry body brush to stimulate the lymphatic flow, hot stones to melt muscle tension, warm bamboo glided over the back, where fascia is coaxed to fluidity.
It is a cadence of intuitive touch with the deep overtones of Tibetan bowls, played both on and around the body so their frequencies resonate through tissue, water and bone
Each layer is composed as ceremony – sculpting, flowing, harmonising – until the body softens, the mind releases, and the nervous system settles into stillness.

We’re delighted to welcome a new offering to Chakana – Overe Kinesiology with Leah, a deeply intuitive modality that complements our holistic spa rituals.

Chakana Sound Therapy
There are things only sound can reach.
Our signature Sound Healing Immersions can be added as 30-minute session to any treatment, or booked as a 60min or 90min session.
You’ll receive live acoustic instrumentation – crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, and voice – guitar played on and around the body in a calibrated sequence to bring the nervous system into coherence.
It’s not music. It’s medicine.
